“So be sure when you step, step with care and great tact. And remember that life’s A Great Balancing Act. And will you succeed? Yes! You will, indeed! (98 and ¾ percent guaranteed)” – Dr. Suess
Dr. Suess is not only passing creativity and lesson filled wisdom down to impressionable children, but is acting as a guiding voice for executives in business alike. A sentiment Ivy Ross, Vice President of Design for Hardware Products at Google shared as her go-to mentor in our latest interview at the Boston Innovation Festival 2019 in Boston.
We learned just how she created the new legacy of well-designed Google products on the market. Ross talks about how important it is for leaders, especially female leaders, to set up an era of wisdom exchange–and advised woman need to start being prouder of their achievements– as key driver in achieving more prominent roles.
One of the most stand-out points Ross shared, was her belief that creativity and innovation starts with trust and freedom.
