Sharing wisdom from world leaders in their field, for free
It’s commonly accepted that the more senior you get in a business the less colleagues and staff in general tend to challenge you – and your thinking, your plans, your decisions and your actions.
So, is this true for you?
Honestly… how much real, constructive, stimulating, useful challenge do you get? From whom?... And just as important, how open to it are you?
Challenge and feedback to leaders are like earth and sunlight to plants – together they ground you in reality and enable you too to move and grow ‘towards the light’! Leaders with little of either, like plants, become pale, weakened versions of themselves, failing to reach their potential.

I've recently worked with an MD who was very open to feedback and challenge. He was someone you could talk your ideas through with and either he'd agree with you or give you reasons for why it didn't work. I influenced my MD to change the company values so it can be done.
Being at the top can be lonely and therefore I believe leaders can gain so much from welcoming feedback and challenges. It brings them more in touch with their employees.
All in all, it brings positive results and helps towards the company being a great place to work, develop and grow.
